About the Luau Polynesian Show:
Our Polynesian dance show is an entertaining revue of the dances and music of the Islands; including the graceful story-telling dances of Hawaii, the fast pulsating hip movements of Tahiti, and the fascinating Maori Poi Ball dances of New Zealand. The revue will also feature beautiful authentic costuming (including the tall colorful headdresses and other island garb), costume changes, and audience participation (including remarks about the guest of honor, if applicable, and light-hearted teaching of some Polynesian dances). The show includes its own emceeing. (About $200/dancer, varies with season and location)Your luau is all the more Polynesian when you greet your guests with flower leis. These are premium silk fabric, full-flowered island leis; and are sure to spread the aloha spirit among your guests. An excellent value at $1 each.
Our DJs bring a great state-of-the-art sound system, and play island music, top 40s music and other music suited to your guests. They play requests, and make announcements and introductions. They also make their cordless mikes available for guests to give speeches. (If your luau is for a wedding, the DJ helps to structure the flow of the reception through announcements and music selections.) $650 for four hours.
Our own 8-item Maui Luau Buffet, with 3 meat dishes (Kalua pig, Hawaiian chicken, Hawaiian beef), 3 salads (garden salad, potato salad, and macaroni salad), rice, & Gyozas (stuffed crescent-like wontons). There's no better food for the price ($15 per person). This also includes set up in flame-heated chafing dishes, which we provide, and serving utensils.
